I was going crazy sitting in my house not knowing what I should do after not having been anywhere in the last four months. I got a text from a friend I knew who told me she was moving away from the city and wanted to a have a few pictures made of her before she moved away. I was ecstatic at the idea and knew right away that the Rheingau Region, about a 30-minute drive away, was the only place that would serve her beauty justice.

I met here there on the train and took the long walk up the hill through the city, until we finally arrive at the cars to bring us to the “Denkmal” which oversees the entire Rheingau. It was a breathtaking view.

Generally, I do not make portraits all of the time, but this photo session was unlike any I had ever done. It didn’t seem like a photo session at all but rather like two friends hanging out. This particular friend is one of the best dancers I’ve meet in Europe and I’m super reluctant to let her go off to another city. That would mean there would be one less dancer in Wiesbaden. I wish her well nonetheless.
