Could it Be a False Dichotomy?

Travel/Street

Here in Germany we have been on a strict lockdown since November of 2020. People are beginning to feel the affects of Corona Virus fatigue. Every month for the last 3 months the government extends the lockdown with no real plan to normalise in the future. This day, a group of Querdenkers (thinkers outside of the box) decided to protest against the massnahme (restrictive actions) that the German government has taken in order to curb the growing number of corona virus infections. The protestors did so legally and with permission from the city of Frankfurt. They were met with resistance from a group of young, left leaning, anti-protestors that banned together to stop the march or Querdenkers. The left leaning group believe that these Querdenkers are much more than critics of the corona virus restrictions but also fascist amongst many other things. I personally am not able to take either side but I do not believe that if you don’t agree with the restrictions you should somehow be ostracized from the conversation of the best way to deal with the current pandemic in Germany.
